Who am I ?

I grew up in a family passionate about music, with a pianist mother and grandparents who were soloists at the Grand Théâtre de Genève, performing alongside the Orchestre de la Suisse Romande (OSR) under the renowned Ernest Ansermet, the orchestra’s founder, who left an indelible mark on the musical history of the Geneva region.

Immersed in this love for music, I began playing the violin at the age of seven. This first encounter with the instrument not only sparked my passion for music but also introduced me to the fascinating world of violin-making, opening the path to my future vocation.

I naturally joined the prestigious École Nationale de Lutherie in Mirecourt, the cradle of French violin-making, where I spent five years mastering the art of making and restoring string quartet instruments.

Graduating in 2004 and enriched by experience gained in various workshops, it felt natural to open my own workshop in Geneva, particularly on Rue Emile-Yung, the street of my childhood. Here, I dedicate myself to making and restoring violins, violas, and cellos.

Passionate about sharing knowledge and eager to learn, I participate in various continuous training programs and violin-making workshops. These experiences offer me opportunities to expand my skills, explore innovative techniques, and collaborate with fellow luthiers.
